Hi beautiful

No one is here to heal you, or to teach you.

We are fellow travelers,
walking beside you,
holding your hand
as you remember
who you are.

You'll become your own guru.
Your own healer.
Your own path to freedom.

You’re here to remember.

My name is Sahar. (سحر)  In Farsi it means "dawn".
In Sufism, Sahar refers to  "awakening," symbolizing the time just before sunrise when the soul and body awaken to spiritual awareness. It is a period of profound spiritual reflection, where the seeker connects with their inner self and the divine, away from the distractions of the world.
I'm a woman from Esfehan, Iran. Who moved to Bay Area on 2014. I explore my " Beautiful Self " journey as a coach, poet and artist.

Healing Modalities of

Beautiful Self Method

I’m a Sufi at heart,
and I wear the hat of a psychosomatic + expressive arts coach.

This method weaves ancient wisdom with evidence-based practice.
The goal is simple: to help you come back home to your body, your truth, and your inner guide.
My approach is shaped by trainings like IFS (Internal Family Systems), psychosomatics, and somatic practices, alongside older ways of knowing—Sama (whirling), plant medicine work, and shamanic journeys.

My  Journey

I have an MFA in Fine Arts, and I’m the founder of a nonprofit supporting children’s mental health in Iran. I’m also a published children’s author and illustrator, creating stories that invite mindfulness, heartfulness, and emotional resilience.

My devotion to healing through art began years ago at Mofid Hospital, while working with children with cancer. That’s where I learned something I’ve never forgotten:

What can’t be said in words often can be expressed through color, shape, movement, and image.

For my MFA thesis, I researched and created a playful therapeutic app for sexually abused children—designed to help them reconnect to their hearts and learn how to speak up. That project reached over 125,000 children in Iran.

Through my own inner journeys, I realized how much of what we carry lives in the body—unspoken, unprocessed, waiting. That became my doorway into somatic work and Hakomi: learning to listen, soften, and stay present with what’s real.

And then there was compassion.
In peak spiritual experiences, it felt effortless. But in everyday life—with triggers, fear, old patterns—it could feel far away.
IFS became a turning point for me: a way to meet every part of myself with tenderness, not shame. That was enough to send me on a long path of study, practice, and finding teachers who truly live what they teach.

The Ultimate Goal of our Sessions:

To help you find your own inner guide—so clearly, so steadily—
that one day you tell me:

“I found it. I trust it. Thank you. I don’t need sessions anymore.”

And my love…
that’s success.
When you outgrow what I can offer—
because you’ve finally come home to the inner wisdom that has always been yours.
